    Magne Shield by Magne Shade – Patented Magnetic Windshield Protection for Your Tow Vehicle

    Magne Shield™ Tow Protection is engineered specifically for trailers and 5th wheels to help protect vulnerable front glass from rocks, road debris, and other hazards encountered while towing.

    At the heart of the Magne Shield™ is a dense, foam-like protective material designed to create a durable barrier between your glass and the road. This protective construction helps absorb and disperse the impact of rocks and debris before they can strike the glass directly, providing an added layer of protection while your trailer or 5th wheel is in tow.

    The system uses small but extremely powerful exterior magnets positioned around the perimeter of the glass. These low-profile black magnets are designed to blend naturally into the black band commonly found around RV and trailer windows, keeping the installation clean and unobtrusive when the Magne Shield™ is removed. Each magnet is secured directly to the glass using high-strength 3M adhesive, creating a strong, durable attachment without drilling holes or installing bulky hardware.

    For additional security, Magne Shield™ incorporates a secondary mechanical attachment system along the bottom edge of the glass. Two small sections of low-profile keder rail are installed near the bottom of the windshield using 3M adhesive, and the lower edge of the Magne Shield™ slides directly into them during installation. Like the magnets, the keder sections require no drilling or permanent modification to the trailer or 5th wheel.

    Together, these components create a highly secure system: powerful magnets hold the Magne Shield™ firmly against the glass, while the keder system provides an additional mechanical connection along the bottom edge. The result is a tow protection system designed to stay securely in place through highway speeds, wind, changing weather, and demanding travel conditions.

    Best of all, Magne Shield™ is designed for easy installation. The shield installs from the ground using the included telescoping installation rod, eliminating the need to climb a ladder or stand on the tongue of your trailer or 5th wheel.
