We take great pride in providing a high quality shades to our customers, and the materials we use in our Magne Shade® products reflects that goal. Our fabrics are PVC coated, the thread is marine grade, and we use Sunbrella UV rated binding making our craftsmanship unmatched. These fabrics block 90% of harmful UV rays and heat from the hot sun. Unlike vinyl fabric, PVC coated fabric will not dry out, stretch out, or crack from the sun and heat. We recommend rolling your shades for storage, in the same way that they are shipped to you. Folding the fabric can result in corners that can become wear points and ultimately damage the fabric over time.

Explanation of Fabric Types

Standard - 90% UV Protection

Our 90% UV protection fabrics have been our go to for Magne Shade products for the last 14 years. The 90% fabric option is our standard across all window shade products as it offers substantial heat reduction combined with a great view out.

Max - 94% UV Protection

For our customers who want just a little more UV and heat protection, we have decided to offer an exciting new 94% fabric option that comes in 4 new beautiful colors. Though the fabric is 4% more closed than our standard fabrics, customers will still enjoy a great view out of their RV.

Midnight - 99% UV Protection

Our Midnight fabric option is a 99% UV blocking fabric for those of you who are seeking greater day and night time privacy. The Midnight fabric will provide a greatly diminished view both into your coach as well as looking out of your coach for the recommended class C coaches with slanted windshield such as the Mercedes Sprinter chassis. For Super C coaches with a less angled windshields such as the Freightliner M-2 chassis the view in and out will be obstructed but it will not provide full nighttime privacy and you will have some view out. The Midnight fabric does a great job of keeping the interior of your RV dark and cool. This fabric is available online only for class B, C, and Super C coaches.

Awning Drop Shade - 70% UV Protection

Our exciting patent pending Magne Screen® Awning Drop Shade is made from a durable 70% UV fabric. This fabric option ensures that the awning drop shade is very lightweight while also providing fantastic UV and heat protection for your RV's patio area.
