Magne Shield by Magne Shade – Patented Magnetic Windshield Protection for Your Tow Vehicle
Magne Shield™ Tow Protection is designed to help protect the windshield of cars, trucks, and SUVs being towed behind a motorhome from rocks, road debris, and other hazards encountered on the highway.
Constructed from a dense, foam-like protective material, Magne Shield™ creates a durable barrier over the windshield to help absorb and disperse impacts before debris can strike the glass directly.
Magne Shield™ utilizes our patented magnetic attachment system, with powerful magnets mounted on the interior of the windshield and secured using high-strength 3M adhesive. These magnets provide the holding power needed to securely position the Magne Shield™ over the exterior of the glass while maintaining a clean, low-profile installation.
For an additional layer of security, two small sections of low-profile keder rail are installed along the lower exterior edge of the windshield using high-strength 3M adhesive. The bottom of the Magne Shield™ slides into the keder sections, creating a mechanical connection that works together with the magnetic system to help keep the shield firmly in place through highway speeds, wind, and demanding travel conditions.
The result is a secure, low-profile, and easy-to-use windshield protection system specifically engineered for vehicles being flat towed behind a motorhome.
